For those of you who read and followed the original Mahler Journey thread on this blog, which chronicled the Oregon East Symphony’s 20^th Anniversary performance of Mahler’s Symphony No. 2-

The 21^st Season of the Oregon East Symphony and Chorale will conclude on May 13, 2007 with a performance of Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 in D Major. 

I can’t tell you what an unlikely turn of events this seemed like throughout all of last season! The “Journey” continues, and we’re now hoping this will be a part of an annual festival weekend in Pendleton.
