Vftp in Gramophone Blogwatch, June Issue

Well, well, well….

It’s celebratin’ time here at Vftp! Turns out the old blog has been selected for Gramophone Magazine’s “Blogwatch” column for the second time. (You can read details of our first appearance here and here).

This time around, they’ve selected the post “In praise of the imperfect.” You can read the unabridged version here, but the Blogwatch version appears below. They’ve mostly focused on the first part of the original, leaving out all the stuff abut Schumann, Schubert and Beethoven’s incidental music for Egmont.

Be sure to pick up your copy at a quality news stand near you, or subscribe today. It looks way cooler on paper
