{"id":1565,"date":"2010-04-27T14:52:13","date_gmt":"2010-04-27T13:52:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kennethwoods.net\/blog1\/?p=1565"},"modified":"2010-05-07T16:15:39","modified_gmt":"2010-05-07T15:15:39","slug":"rose-city-international-conductors-workshop-final-application-phase-deadline-may-31","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kennethwoods.net\/blog1\/2010\/04\/27\/rose-city-international-conductors-workshop-final-application-phase-deadline-may-31\/","title":{"rendered":"Rose City International Conductor&#8217;s Workshop- final application phase deadline May 28"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/rosecityworkshop.org\/sitebuilder\/images\/workshopbanner2-450x158.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"158\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Sixth Annual Rose City International Conductor\u2019s Workshop<\/h2>\n<p>July 5-11, 2010<\/p>\n<p>The Priority Application deadline has passed for the 2010 Workshop, and with all Priority places full, we now have a select number of positions available for the Final Round of applications, which are due on May 28, 2010.<\/p>\n<p>This summer sees the return of <a href=\"http:\/\/rosecityworkshop.org\/Faculty.html\">our distinguished faculty<\/a>&#8211; David Hoose, Director of Orchestral Studies at Boston University and director of the Cantata Singers, Christopher Zimmerman, \u00a0Chair of Orchestral Conducting at the Hartt School and newly appointed Music Director of the Fairfax Symphony and Director Kenneth Woods, Principal Guest Conductor of Orchestra of the Swan and a frequent conducting clinician and adjudicator at institutions including the Royal College of Music, BBC National Orchestra of Wales and University of Wisconsin School of Music.<\/p>\n<p>Professional soloists include tenor Brennen Guillory, soprano Esther Mae Moses and pianist Neal Kurz.
