I suspect this may be at least partly due to the committed advocacy of conductor Kenneth Woods, who not only knows a good thing when he hears it, but is able to communicate it to the orchestra in front of him.This is nowhere more evident than in the most compelling composition of the three, the single-span Tenth Symphony, a multi-faceted and cogently argued work&#8230; Signum&#8217;s sound is superlative and this is a disc I have been playing again and again (and will continue to return to).
