My colleagues on the board of the Conductors Guild have been working very hard to put together the best Guild conference ever. It just got better-

Two new reasons you absolutely cannot miss the Copenhagen conference:

We will all have the opportunity to conduct the Danish National Symphony Orchestra in concert! That’s right—albeit briefly. Doing the Elgar Pomp and Circumstance March #1 (Land of Hope and Glory), we will take turns conducting in a world record attempt: “Most conductors in a live performance.” OK, it’s not a chance to do all of the Ninth with them, but it certainly should be a unique experience!

The Friday evening gala dinner will be at a fabulous Danish and Mediterranean buffet restaurant, Ad Libitum. It’s all-you-can-eat-and-drink, with unusual and delicious cuisine, and it’s included in your conference registration fee!

Now what are you possible waiting for? Register today! Air fares are not as high as you might think (today I found $850 from NY), and all local transportation during the conference is free!

I strongly encourage all my colleagues and friends in the field at all stages of their careers to try to make their way to Copenhagen for what I am sure will be a fantastic event.
